hotel King Charles IV, who ruled in the 14th century, was known for interrupting his royal duties so he could hunt along the Tepi River in a beautiful area we know today as the Czech Republic in "The Heart of Europe" One day he entered a gorgeous valley surrounded by granite hills covered with forests of pine and discovered robust springs of steaming mineral water escaping from rock caldrons deep within the earth. So refreshing were these waters, so nourishing were other organic properties specific to this land, that Charles built a city and named it Carlsbad after himself. Today this area, Lenka's homeland, is famous for its luxury spas and beautiful women who still use the ancient recipes based on natural resources found here in order to maintain their exquisite skin.
