Calendula
- (the benefits of this flower will be listed soon)
Cocoa
- (the benefits of this bean will be listed soon)
Coconut
Oil - This highly nutritious oil is rich in fiber, vitamins, and
minerals, supporting the tissue’s healing and repairing properties.
It helps protect the skin from harmful free radicals that promote premature
ageing. Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that softens the skin, helps
relieve dryness and flaking, and prevents wrinkles, sagging skin, and age
spots.
Dead
Sea Salt - The waters from the Dead Sea are unique. They contain
27% of various salts as compared to 3% in normal sea water. Magnesium
is important for combating stress and fluid retention, slowing skin aging,
and calming the nervous system. Calcium is effective at
preventing water retention, increasing circulation and strengthening bones
and nails. Potassium energizes the body, helps to balance
skin moisture. Bromides act to ease muscle stiffness. Sodium
is important for the lymphatic fluid balance. Bathing in high quality sea
salt can replenish the minerals which are critical to our skin metabolism.
Honey
- Honey is extremely nourishing and moisturizing to the skin, rejuvenating
it and leading to the elimination of fine wrinkles. Honey is acidic, and
the acids prevent the growth of bacteria, allowing honey to act as a natural
preservative.
Jojoba Oil - Jojoba oil is considered a ‘natural moisturizing factor’. Just like the lipids that are naturally found in your skin, it helps fight surface roughness, flaking, and fine lines. Due to the unique molecular structure, not only will it mix readily with the skin’s natural oils, but studies have shown that it can even inhibit the growth of certain types of bacteria associated with acne. Jojoba oil, along with the natural oils produced by the skin, is extremely helpful in the healing process.
Rose
Hips - Rosehip seed oil penetrates the skin’s upper layers
very quickly, making it an excellent natural moisturizer. It supports the
keratin migration cycle that is responsible for the natural regeneration
of skin cells, increasing the amount of renewed cells in the epidermis.
These cells produce more collagen and elastin which make the skin look smoother,
firmer and suppler. In addition to its healing of sensitive, allergic, sun
damaged, hyper-pigmented, aging, or problem skin, rosehip seed oil also
provides immediate relief for dry skin and eczema. The positive action in
helping to regenerate damaged skin tissues was originally attributed to
its high content of essential unsaturated fatty acids, names oleic, linoleic
and linolenic. Extensive studies have shown positive effects on scars and
stretch marks. It is an excellent source of topical trans-retinoic acid
(vitamin A) in a natural form.
Sesame
Seed Oil - Highly nutritious and rich in vitamins A, B and E as
well as iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, silicic acid and phosphorous,
sesame seed oil's chemical structure allows it to penetrate the skin easily,
nourishing and detoxifying even the deepest tissue layers. Its warming effects
enhance circulation. Its relaxing properties ease pain and muscle spasm.
It is a useful natural protector against UV rays. Its antioxidants are reputed
to slow the ageing process and increase longevity. Research shows that sesame
oil is a potent antioxidant. It will neutralize oxygen radicals in the tissues
beneath the skin, absorbing quickly and penetrating through the tissues
to the very marrow of the bone. It enters into the blood stream through
the capillaries and circulates. Regular oiling of the skin restores moisture,
keeping it soft, flexible and young looking.
Vitamin
E - Like honey, Vitamin E is a natural preservative and antioxidant.
